These terms apply to all work carried out by GasCert Heating & Plumbing Ltd (“GasCert”), a company registered in England and Wales. Registered address: 15 Ruskin Grove, Dartford, DA1 1ND. Contact: 01322 476 492 · info@dartford.plumbing.
All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A quote is not a contract until accepted in writing or verbally confirmed by both parties. Where unforeseen work is identified during a job, we will advise you of any additional costs before proceeding.
All work is carried out by qualified engineers in accordance with current UK building regulations and Gas Safe requirements. We will take reasonable care to avoid damage to your property and will leave work areas clean and tidy upon completion. Any existing defects or pre-existing damage will be noted before work begins.
Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, cash and card. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences. Late payment may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Our labour is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion. Parts and materials are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference or fair wear and tear. Manufacturer warranties for boilers and major appliances are separate and must be registered directly with the manufacturer.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out charge. Emergency call-outs are non-refundable once an engineer has attended site.
Service plans require a minimum 12-month commitment. Plans auto-renew annually unless cancelled in writing with 30 days’ notice before the renewal date. Plan benefits are non-transferable and apply to the address registered at the time of sign-up. DPMS reserves the right to withdraw plan cover from properties deemed unsafe or where access has been unreasonably refused.
Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
